The terms that govern your use of the EBUTECH website and services.

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the EBUTECH Global Hub Innovation website, the EBUTECH mobile app, and the services we facilitate for booking and hiring verified professionals. By submitting a Service Request, using the app, or otherwise using our website, you agree to these Terms.
Our Privacy Policy, Cancellation & Refund Policy, and Community Standards form part of these Terms.
EBUTECH Global Hub Innovation ("EBUTECH," "we," "us," or "our") is a Nigerian services company based in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, where homes and businesses book and hire verified engineers, technicians, artisans, and skilled professionals.
EBUTECH reviews Service Requests submitted through our website and assigns a verified professional from our network to carry out the requested work. While we vet and verify the professionals we work with, each assignment is between you and EBUTECH as the contracting party, with the assigned professional carrying out the work on our behalf.
By submitting a Service Request, you confirm that:
Submitting a request does not guarantee a specific price, technician, or appointment time. Pricing, scheduling, and scope of work are confirmed directly with you before work begins.
Each professional in our network is issued a unique verification code (e.g. "EBT-3K7Q9A"). We strongly recommend confirming this code with the assigned professional before allowing any work to begin, as a safeguard against impersonation. EBUTECH is not responsible for losses arising from a client's failure to verify a technician's identity before granting access to a property.
When your assigned professional arrives, we send you a one-time six-digit arrival code (by SMS, email, and in the EBUTECH app). The professional must obtain this code from you and enter it before the job is recorded as started. This confirms that the person at your door is the professional we actually dispatched.
Give the arrival code only to the person physically at your location. Never read it out over the phone, and never share it with anyone who has not arrived.
Job pricing is based on the scope of work, materials, and location, and is agreed with you before work commences. When the job is complete, the agreed amount is entered and you receive payment details — either a secure payment link or a dedicated EBUTECH account number for that job.
All payments go to EBUTECH — never to a professional directly. We collect payment through Paystack, a payment processor licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria. A professional who asks you to pay them directly, in cash or by transfer to a personal account, is acting against our rules. Do not pay, and report it to us immediately. We will not treat a payment made directly to an individual as payment for the job, and you may be asked to pay again through the proper channel. See Payment Safety.
Prices are in Nigerian Naira and, where applicable, include any taxes we are required to charge.
You may cancel a booking free of charge at any time before work begins — from the EBUTECH app, from the tracking page, or by contacting us. Once the arrival code has been validated and work has started, cancellation is handled as a support matter and may be subject to a call-out or partial service charge.

The EBUTECH mobile app lets you book services, track a job in real time, retrieve your arrival code, pay for completed work, and rate your professional. You may use the app without an account by tracking a job with its booking code, or create an account for a synced history of your bookings.

To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, EBUTECH's liability for any claim arising from a Service Request is limited to the value of the job in question. EBUTECH is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct.
After a job is completed you may rate the professional and report a concern. Ratings feed the way we rank and assign professionals, so please rate honestly and only on your own direct experience.
All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, and the EBUTECH brand — is the property of EBUTECH Global Hub Innovation and may not be copied or reused without our written permission.
You agree not to misuse this website, including by submitting false information, attempting to interfere with its normal operation, or using it for any unlawful purpose.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Rivers State, Nigeria.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
